It is located at Andes Mountains foot on the Maipo River south bank, where there is great terroir diversity. It is surrounded by hills and has varied geological formations, slopes, altitudes, exposures and soil textures.
The Winery has a semi-arid Mediterranean climate. The daily temperature oscillation can reach 20 ° C, as a result of the cold air coming down from the Andes Mountains.
The unique configuration of the mountains that surround Alto Jahuel delays the drop in temperatures at sunset, resulting in more ripe and sweet grapes, with soft, round tannins.
