Ana María Cumsille, the Chief Winemaker of the Chilean winery, participated in the Miami and San Francisco editions alongside the iconic Carmen Gold 2021 and the high-end labels Carmen Delanz Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 and Carmen Delanz Carmenère 2021.

Great Wines of the World USA 2025, the prestigious international fair organized by renowned American critic James Suckling, took place on February 27 and 28 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, and on March 2 at the Fort Mason Gateway Pavilion in San Francisco. Recognized as one of the most important events in the wine industry, this gathering has established itself as a key platform for showcasing premium wines in the global market.

Both editions brought together over 9,000 experts, distributors, importers, and wine enthusiasts, who had the opportunity to taste the highest-rated wines selected by the critic. In Miami, guests sampled 800 wines from 360 producers, while 248 wines were available in San Francisco, from 135 producers worldwide.

Viña Carmen was represented by Chief Winemaker Ana María Cumsille, who introduced the iconic Carmen Gold 2021, a top Cabernet Sauvignon from the Maipo Valley that earned 95 points in Suckling’s Chile Report 2023. Additionally, she showcased two high-end wines from the Delanz range: Carmen Delanz Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 and Carmen Delanz Carmenère 2021. Both blends show the typicity and singularity of the Alto Jahuel and Apalta vineyards, respectively, and were awarded 94 points.

Prior to the event, Cumsille attended the exclusive Welcome Party held at The Standard Hotel in Miami. There, guests enjoyed the vibrant Carmen DO Quijada 2021, a white wine from the DO range, which celebrates the richness of small-producer vineyards across Chile.

With a portfolio that combines history, innovation, and a deep commitment to quality, Viña Carmen reaffirms its leadership and prestige on the international stage by participating in one of the most significant and well-attended premium wine events in the United States.
