The Chilean wine group has been recognized as the best premium drinks company of the year globally, standing out for its sustainability and innovation within the luxury sector.
Santa Rita Estates —which includes the Chilean wineries Santa Rita and Carmen, as well as Doña Paula in Argentina— was awarded Premium Drinks Business of the Year at the 2025 Positive Luxury Awards. This international accolade honors companies leading the shift toward a more sustainable and conscious luxury industry.
Organized by Positive Luxury, a sustainability authority for high-end brands, the awards spotlight companies that combine operational excellence with positive environmental and social impact. Since 2011, Positive Luxury has advised over 200 global brands on responsible practices and sustainable innovation.
The category won by Santa Rita Estates celebrates businesses that demonstrate a high level of excellence in craftsmanship, ethical commitment, and forward-thinking vision within the global luxury drinks industry.
“Santa Rita Estates exemplifies how tradition and sustainability can work together to create a lasting positive impact. From maintaining zero-waste operations and water efficiencies to active social engagement, Santa Rita delivers tangible benefits across environmental and social spheres,” said Amy Nelson-Bennett, CEO of Positive Luxury.
Elena Carretero, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Manager at Viña Santa Rita, added: “This award reflects a long-term journey, where sustainability has been part of a clear and structured strategy that touches every part of our business—from the vineyard and the winery to our people and communities. It encourages us to keep moving forward with conviction toward a more conscious, transparent, and future-ready industry.”
