Agronomist and Winemaker of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Eduardo began his career at Viña Cousiño Macul in 2002, as Assistant Winemaker of the winery and cellars of Santiago and Buin. He then moved to Production Manager, responsible for setting up the bottling line, and later served as Viticulture Manager, managing vineyards on the Santiago and Buin properties for Cousiño Macul.
Between 2007 and 2011, he moved to Mendoza, Argentina, where he assumes as Chief Winemaker for Viña Kaiken, part of the Montes group. During this period, the winery grew explosively in sales, which led to the purchase of a wine cellar, as well as fields to be planted.
On his return to Chile, he joined Santa Rita in mid-2011, as Business Manager, in charge of the purchase of grapes and wines, as well as the handling of stocks. Later in 2014, he became Vitiviniculture Manager, leading the areas of Viticulture, Enology and enological operations, generating a coordinated work between the areas to ensure the sustainability of the vineyards and the elaboration of superior wines.
